What should I do at the gym today

The 20-Minute Wonder Workout

1. Warm-Up (3 minutes):

  • Jumping Jacks: Get the blood pumping with 1 minute of jumping jacks.
  • Arm Circles: Feel like a majestic bird with 30 seconds of arm circles each way.
  • High Knees: March (or dance) on the spot for 1 minute.

2. Strength and Tone (12 minutes):

  • Squats (2 minutes): Feel the burn while pretending to sit on an invisible chair.
  • Push-ups (2 minutes): Knees or toes, channel your inner superhero.
  • Plank (2 minutes): Engage that core and imagine you’re a sturdy plank of wood.
  • Lunges (2 minutes): Step forward and imagine you’re walking the runway.
  • Bent-Over Rows (2 minutes): Use light weights or soup cans, pull them up with flair.
  • Russian Twists (2 minutes): Sit on the floor, twist side to side, and maybe imagine you’re steering a pirate ship.

3. Cool Down (5 minutes):

  • Child’s Pose: Stretch it out and breathe, like a cat post-nap.
  • Forward Bend: Reach for those toes, or at least wave at them.
  • Neck Stretches: Gently nod and shake your head, as if agreeing with everything your cat says.

This workout is short, sweet, and sure to give you a sense of accomplishment. No need to spend hours at the gym when you can squeeze this into your day. Plus, it’s straightforward enough to keep your feline friend entertained as they watch your antics!
